Matthew Brown founded P2P Consulting to help professionals communicate their expertise with clarity, confidence, and strategic purpose.
With a background in strategic communication, journalism, marketing content development, and public speaking, Matthew has spent over a decade helping organizations and professionals translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive messaging.
His experience spans marketing and communications for nationally recognized brands, professional training and development, and thought leadership content development for high-visibility platforms.
Through P2P Consulting, Matthew now helps financial advisors, attorneys, & real estate leaders refine their messaging, strengthen their professional presence, and position themselves as recognized authorities within their industries.

Matthew’s approach to communication strategy is shaped by a unique blend of academic training, professional communication experience, and public speaking.
He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Psychology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where he was selected as a commencement speaker for the university’s graduating class.
Early in his career, Matthew worked as a journalist covering major sports events, including the NFL Combine, and contributed reporting and content alongside the Associated Press. He later developed marketing and advertising content for nationally recognized sports betting brands including BetMGM, FanDuel, Caesars Sportsbook, and DraftKings—producing high-impact content in some of the most competitive digital marketing environments in the industry.
Throughout his career, Matthew has worked across industries including media, marketing, leadership training, and professional development—helping organizations and professionals communicate ideas that build trust and inspire action.
